An excellent opportunity to enter the cyber security field in a dynamic, challenging, and meaningful way.
The National Cyber Exercise and Planning Program (NCEPP) improves the Nation's cyber security readiness, protection, and incident response capabilities by developing, designing, and conducting cyber exercises and workshops at the State, Federal, regional, sector, and international level.
Activities conducted under the NCEPP include the design, support, and execution of a broad spectrum of exercise types, depending upon the goals and objectives of the exercise.
The exercises can range from policy-based tabletop exercises intended to identify policy and process issues that facilitate or hinder cyber security operations under a variety of authorities, to full scale exercises with both public and private sectors that incorporate network simulations to test command and control procedures, response mechanisms and cross-sector coordination.
NCEPP encompasses local, state, Federal and international government exercises, as well as collaboration with private-sector critical infrastructure partners.
